We offer customized insurance solutions designed to create profit opportunities for our clients while reducing their financial risk. Ultimately, SouthwestRe makes it possible for our insurance producer clients to share in the back-end management profits as well as the front-end commissionable sales.

We accomplish this through two means. First, we create and administer insurance products such as automotive dealer F&I products and financial institution products, and second, we form and manage producer-owned reinsurance companies (PORCs).

In early 2004, SouthwestRe acquired Dealer's Assurance Company (DAC).  Founded in 1935, DAC is a property and casualty insurer licensed in 41 states and holds an A- (Excellent) rating from A.M. Best & Co. This partnership benefits our clients by enabling us to provide them with responsive, unique, secure and profitable solutions that are backed by an established, credible insurance organization.

Our flexible business approach also differentiates us. We respond quickly to industry needs by creating products and services that produce results and provide rewards. Through resourceful planning, SouthwestRe has expanded its capabilities to include a variety of insurance products and services in addition to reinsurance. We've also opened complementary channels such as worker's compensation and home warranties.

All of our innovative programs are backed by more than 20 solid years of reinsurance experience. Today, we process more than $200 million in annual insurance premiums and manage over 700 captive reinsurance companies, comprising more than 6,000 automobile dealer relationships.
